Ford's Newborn Photos :: Candice Brooke Photography

I can't believe I haven't shared some of the photos from Ford's newborn shoot with Candice Brooke Photography, my sister in law.

They turned out perfect, Candice is so talented and knows how to capture these sweet moments.  Ford was about two weeks old.

I can't believe how much older Ford already looks!  I am so grateful I have these images to forever cherish.

A Birthday Play Date & Tin Can Cakes

A few weeks back Presley and I invited over my niece Jordyn for a birthday play date. 

Jordyn had a special day with her parents for her birthday so we decided to have a little party of our own!

I had seen these tin can cakes on Oh Happy Day, and wanted to give them a try.

It was a lot of fun and the girls loved their mini cakes and being able to frost all the layers.

I think these would be darling for a party, and of course not as messy if you were making them yourself.

Sorry for the absence of posts, we have been busy and lazy!

Life is good enjoying my two little ones.

A lot has been going on like a trip to Utah, my brother proposing (!!!), a few rides with the mini horse, sunshine by the beach, smiles for days from Ford, and so on...

Master Bedroom Inspiration

For Christmas we decided to spruce up our bedroom a bit.

I have been dying to get my dream bedframe for a few years - but still can't get myself to spend the money on it.

This is what I am thinking to do for our master bedroom on a smaller budget.

We are in the middle of putting everything together, making a headboard, and I'm excited for it to be done and share with you!
