Halloween Sneak Peek + Flashback

Here is a little sneak peek of our version of
Super Girl!
Presley was all over the board last month on what she wanted to be, and then "Super Girl" stuck.
We're not sure where she got this idea, playground friends??
But I love it, and she has been so excited!
Today was her first time wearing her costume and I could hardly get her to sit still for a pic.

We went with a simple kitty cat costume.

I made a chick costume that I wish she still fit in.
I couldn't get enough of her in this!

Weekend Getaway :: Deer Valley, Utah

 Deer Valley, Utah
Our "babymoon"
We enjoyed a little getaway together up in Deer Valley while Presley stayed home with her cousins.
It was a great relaxing weekend spent in gorgeous fall weather.
You can't beat the Utah mountains in the fall!
We bunked up with my Mom, both brothers, and Robb's girl Jess.
It was perfect!

Me in all my 32 week glory.
Baby is growing!
(and apparently so am I...)

I'd also like to give a big thanks to everyone for taking the survey!
All of your time and support is much appreciated!

More Garland Inspiration

My friend Brittany emailed me with her garlands inspired by my Halloween garland.
I have been wanting to make more than my two garlands, but don't know if I have the time this year.
After seeing how much I love her multiple hanging garlands I am going to have to whip out some more!
Check out her post here.

Major Nesting

Old nursery. Photo by Ashlee Raubach

I am in a major nesting mode.
All weekend we were rearranging all of our existing furniture, making room for Baby.
It was exciting and a little sad to move some of my favorite spaces around, but the good thing is that we are being much smarter about our space.
As soon as the spaces are finished I'll share more of the family of four transformation.
(It's not that exciting, no new purchases were made :)
Farewell to some of my favorite spaces, and welcome a very exciting time in our lives!

My main squeeze setting up my new office.

A couple pictures of the old spaces...

Thursday Thoughts

First, thank you all so much for your input on the family photos!  I am glad to hear that I am not the only one that can't narrow it down - but I can't wait to get one (or a few...) up in Baby's room!

Second, I am probably a sight to see as I work from home today in this 90 degree weather with the AC cranking, a fall soundtrack playing, and one of my favorite fall scents lit.  It will be fall in my world.

Also, have you seen Zara's recent lookbooks?

Yes please to everything.

 Love.
Can not wait to dress the little Mister soon.

Those gold sparkled oxfords?!  It't just too much.

And I can't stop thinking about this cozy little setting from my Pinterest, found at Lonnymag.
This is where I want to hang out today.

Have a great day!
It's almost the weekend and I can't wait - there are so many things I want to get done around the house.

Old Photos :: Baby Boy's Nursery

We found out really early with this pregnancy the sex of the baby.
12 weeks along and the doctor could tell  it was a boy!
On the way home from our appointment I told Dan I wanted to paint his room a deep green,
(which we are no longer doing until Dan knows his future job and we aren't in transition.  Until then the walls will stay white.)
and blow up poster size an old photo of my Dad to hang in baby's room.

The problem is, I can't decide on which one to use!  And I only have two more months .....
Here are the front runners:

Any votes??

Also, I've gotten a lot of questions regarding baby's room and baby's name.
I will share more of my ideas for the room in the weeks to come.
And as for the name, we've had it since I was pregnant with Presley, but aren't going to announce it on the blog just yet.
