Hats Off to a Long Weekend!

We are heading to the beach to kick off the long weekend! 

So happy to spend it with my babes, the sunshine, family and friends, and hopefully getting re acquainted with our grill!

I can't believe summer is right around the corner ...

I almost always travel with a photographer??

My sister in law Candice is an amazing photographer, and we luck out every family vacation and gathering with beautiful photos.

Lucky for us she took plenty of photos this trip as well, I was sick for most of the trip unfortunately and didn't take out my camera!

Here are some of her photos of the Tuscan villa, Tre Querce, we stayed in for five nights.  It was an amazing home and I loved their updated take on a tuscan home.  The interiors were gorgeous - not to mention the views!

 This was our charming room, we loved it!

I can't wait to show you more of her work on our trip once I get my hands on them!

Italia

We just got home last night from a ten day trip to Italy!  It was amazing and such a great adventure, and it is now so good to be home and have Presley by my side again!  Oh how I missed that girl.

I can't wait to tell you more about it, but for today I am feeling a bit jet lagged ...

Sneak Peek: Mikelle's Bridals

I flew back on Friday from the wedding of Jud and Mikelle that I helped style in Salt Lake City.  It was a gorgeous wedding dinner and everything went very smoothly!  

Thank goodness!

This was my first wedding to help with, so I was hoping for the best on the big day!

I am excited to share some photos of the romantic and beautiful day, but here is a teaser of Mikelle's bridals shot by Jessica Jenae Photography.  

These photos left me speechless!  By far some of my favorite bridals I've seen - and of course they are interior shots.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day weekend to everyone!

I have always loved Mother's Day, it has been a time to honor the incredible woman I was blessed to have in my life.  I think this is also why I feel honored to be a mother myself now, because of the mothers I've had in my life to teach, lead, and guide me through.  

I can't wait to honor and celebrate my Mother, Mother in law, and two Grandmothers.

My Grandma Ruthie always teaching me how to cook, bake, entertain, live with passion, and balance a life full of motherhood and an amazing career.  Miss you Grandma Ruthie.

And my Grandma Judy who was the life of the party, graceful, and spent the last twenty years of her life spoiling her grandchildren with so much love and time spent together.

Party Decor BHLDN

I was so excited to wake up to an email about the new party decor from BHLDN debuted today.  

Finally a way that all of us married girls can shop! ( For a party or two.)

Our Weekend in Photos

On Friday we gardened, 

Presley loves to play in our little garden.

I am hoping to get some tomato plants this summer.

 We had a little garage sale early Saturday morning.

Presley found old photos of us while prepping for said garage sale.

She ran over to the fridge - took down all of her artwork and put up our pictures. 

After the garage sale I ran to a baby shower,

then off to my nieces first  birthday.

 Candice created quite the party and delicious spread!

 Then we headed straight from there to another birthday party,

with pony rides - Presley was obsessed!

Then we headed back home for the first time all day to relax and get some snuggle time in.

It was a busy weekend, but luckily we had all day Sunday to be together, go to church, and relax!
