Home Tour: Our Master Bedroom & Bath

Photos by Ashlee Raubach

The wall color is Worldly Gray by Sherwin Williams.
The band across the top and the ceiling are Swiss Coffee.

Hello and welcome to our bedroom!
There is still so much I'd like to do in this room, but it is peaceful and cozy which is just perfect for now.

I have had a lot of emails about a few things in our room, so I wanted to share the resources with you today.

I don't have a source for the woven wood shades, we put those in with our builder, Standard Pacific Homes, when we bought our condo.

The bedding is mainly Matteo.
Matteo is heavenly perfection. I'm seriously obsessed and wish that we had the sheets to go with our amazing Tat duvet!

The euros are India Rose and I found them at Alice Lane about a year ago.

The standard shams are also Matteo, in the Quaterfoil collection.

The silhouette paintings I painted for our apartment hallway, and thought they made the perfect addition to our room.
I painted them from outlining our profiles with a good old lamp. I made them four years ago and wanted to put my own spin on them so I made them huge.  They have a lot of personality for being simple black and white silhouettes.

Bust and gold tray were flea market finds, and the white tree jewelry hanger was Urban Outfitters a while ago - but I've seen them there recently in a few different colors.
I ordered the earring stand from a decor store a few years back as well, I saw them in the store and just asked the owner if they wouldn't mind me buying some from them.

The You & I piece I made as well.
(Looking forward to the day I can buy art!)
I will do a tutorial post on this soon.

Lamps are Zgallerie.

The above photo clearly by me, but I wanted to show the paint detail in our room.

Our bathroom is painted white, again in Swiss Coffee by Dunn Edwards.
Love this white!

The rug is a jute rug from West Elm and can be found here.

The containers with makeup brushes are from Anthropologie from way back when.
But have no fear, I am beyond obsessed with these beauties!

I found the baskets on clearance at Crate and Barrel.  I am not a big fan of towel bars, I love me some towel hooks and baskets full of white towels!

Letter hooks found here.

The large painting with the floral silhouette is painted by me.
Can you tell I love to paint, it helps clear my mind.

LOVE necklace from Armelle  given by my huz.

Hi Nicole! Love your blog and home. I have a quick Q about your bedding as I have the Matteo Tat duvet cover as well and generally adore, BUT for... I cannot figure out the filler. I have a queen cover and queen duvet inside and it just swims in there. Have you had this problem? We've been thinking about up-sizing to deal with the excess, but I was curious if you'd encountered and combat anything similar? Thanks in advance!

So, I don't know you at all but my friend put your blog on her blog and I have been stalking you ever since because I LOVE your decor! I need you to come to Iowa (where I live) and help me make my house look like yours. Im on a very low budget, my house looks nothing like yours, and i want it to look the exact same:) No, but really I just wanted to let you know how much I love and admire your decorating skills and I am trying to get more creative and YOU have singlehandedly inspired me. The way you put things out looks beautiful and effortless. My house is full of colors but I am tempted to use your paint palette to start all over and go light! Thanks for the inspiration!

I absolutely love your blog and your ideas. I'm moving to Arizona come May and due to Military housing we have certain restrictions but you're creativity has reignited my love for lighter interiors and given me new ideas on how to decorate my home. Thank you so much for all the recipes and inspiration!
