Well the ones I love are in Oragne County...not too far from LA.
Jonathans in Huntington Beach: Fabulous decor ideas and great finds, a bit pricy but worth it.
Tuvalu in Laguna Beach (main street area): I can live in this store! Great finds, pricy and affordable. Costal and shabby chic decor!
Hope you make it out to at least one of them. If I you had to choose one it would be Tuvalu, I know you will love it!

Ok I'm sure you have been to these but just in case. House of Honey in Pasadena, Cisco Home, Plantation. Take lots of pics.
I always like going to the shops in the La Cienaga Design Quarter!
