I have been feeling overwhelmed lately...
sorry for the lack of posts.
I came across these photos last night and thought I'd share them
pictures of my home clean (sigh)
Living Room Built In
We installed a couple built ins a few months back.
It makes such a huge difference in our home!
Since our family and friends have asked us if we repainted? got new couches? It is amazing what a finished space can do to your home and mind.
I went for a clean and simple look with these shelves. I was nervous about using the dark stain, but I love how they turned out.
I styled them with old decor I already had - it feels dark and heavy to me, slowly I'd love to start switching things out.

you have great style! i love it all, especially the built in in your family room. the white decor is gorgeous along with your pillows and everything in that room!
I've missed your posts lately. Sorry you are overwhelmed! I love your house because I can actually picture living there, unlike some of the rooms I've seen lately in interior magazines. So lovely and classic.
Your rooms are so pretty and styled great! Maybe you can do my shelfs, they look awful compared to yours.
Hope things mello out for you! BTW, I have a giveaway over at my blog http://aspoonfulofdish.blogspot.com make sure to stop by!
Can I come and spend a weekend there for a retreat! It is gorgeous!
Beautiful! Where did you get the striped pillows? I've been looking everywhere!
I love white. And I love your home. So fresh and beautiful. And isn't it so true about kids and clean homes? It lasts but for only a brief moment, but it is such a wonderful feeling. I swore to myself I would never be one of "those moms" with a cluttered house. Alas, I have become that...
sorry you are feeling overwhelmed! i like your pillows, rug and all the personal pictures you have displayed!
You are amazing. They look so good. I love the dark wood.
It all looks great! I like the dark wood.
The little pink car reflected on the side of the mirrored dresser in the first picture made me smile.

Nicole, you have such a great sense of style. My mom told me she's seen you at Williams Sonoma and you are always so adorable when she see's you. (Duh!) You're a natural at this blogging thing. I hope to join the ranks one of these days. Happy Anniversary to you and Dan. What stunning photos of you two! It's always nice to hear moms say they are overwhelmed at times. I know I am not alone. :)
I love your frames going up the stairs - are they pottery barn?
Love those frames by the stairs... i've been wondering what to do with my empty wall space by my own stairs forevs! you're oh-so-inspiring and i love it.
How much did it cost to do your white built in entertainment center? I am really wanting to have ours done and it appears to be the same size.
