dream table

I was lucky enough to get my dream table a few months ago!
I have been obsessing over this Oly table since I first laid eyes on it about a couple years ago.
I found it at Alice Lane Home - one of my all time favorite shops!
It is a piece I will have forever, and I still can't believe I own it in my home.
The color, texture, and shape of the table and legs makes my heart swell.
Literally.
I hope you love it as well!

After getting the table, it was apparent I was definitely going to need to do something with my existing chairs.
I decided to do a white (surprise surprise) slip cover with a short skirt.
I wanted the skirt to be pleated, but that upped the price, so I went for a very simple slipcover
and added detail with a black monogram.
I am really happy with the monograms - I think they add so much to the chairs!

Eventually we will get two accent chairs for the head of the table.

Enjoy your weekend!
xo!

This a GORGEOUS table! I'm on the hunt for a dining room table for the new house we are building.... do you think this style table could be "dressed up" in a more formal style dining room? Think crystal chandelier, wallpaper and upholstered wing back chairs on the ends.

Hey Nicole, it's Rich Hada's sister. I've been reading your blog for a few weeks and really enjoying it! You're one classy and talented gal! Thanks for all the inspiring ideas and photos. I got the Alba Kukui Nut lotion you recommended the other day. I'm slathering it all over every day. Great summer scent. Wish I could say I also got this table...and that dog...and a bunch of cute potted succulents.... In time, in time... anyway, fun to see your cute family and hope all is well! (And congrats to your brother on his new baby!)

I saw this table at Alice Lane a while back and have been obsessed with it! I love your style- clean lines and pops of color in all the right places. I hope you'll put up more pictures of your home in the future-I could use some inspiration and ideas for my own house!

Just beautiful! I love the color of the table. Do you know what type of house plant that is? Sorry for being off topic, but I'm in the market for a new house plant :)

First off, WOW !! Gorgeous table! If I owned it, I would stare at it endlessly.

Second, I clicked on the Alice Lane site, and fell in love with a couple of beds on the site. How did you manage to get the table from Utah?
Do they ship if you contact them? I live in the San Francisco bay area.

To answer more questions ....

YES! I think this table could totally be dressed up!

The chandelier is by Arteriors, I bought mine from Tuvalu in Laguna Beach, it also comes in a larger size that is really cool too!

And yes, Alice Lane does ship. Just contact the store. I really lucked out and happened to have a close friend moving from Utah to California that brought it down for me. But my mom has had a lot of stuff shipped from their store. They are great to work with!
