I can not get this image from the latest J.Crew catalog out of my head!
I am obsessing over her hot pink lipstick, but since I can't pull this off with my coloring, I went searching for it in a nail polish.
(and p.s. any one up for a craft night trying to recreate this necklace? gorge!!)
Lucky for me I found a perfect shade in OPI. And, maybe three other new colors I am dying over. I thought I'd share my new favorites.

I saw a pic of Zooey Deschanel wearing a lipstick in that color a few weeks ago, and I was obsessed. I found a pretty color very close to it at MAC and i LOVE it. Gotta love a good deal on nail polish. LOVE all those colors. I got an OPI color that i really like, Over The Taupe. Those are all such fun colors, I might have to hit up Planet Beauty.
oh and Im down for a craft night to make this necklace. we need to hit up the garment district first to find all the cheap, fun trims. (did you know there is a j.brand outlet up near FIDM???) EVerything is like $60 or less and they have baby stuff too.
I got the blue and lavender one the other day. I also love over the taupe! Wearing it right now!

With your bone structure you can pull off anything. Also, i don't think that necklace will be hard to make. Let's discuss it when I see you. Should I try out that lipstick color? I mean I basically have the same coloring as the girl in the photo (just add a few freckles and wrinkles).

The pink color I have is Speed Dial and I wear it with a hot pink liner with is called Little Tease. Rachel just posted about another MAC pink called Chatterbox on the suneday blog that I want to try out as well. If she can wear pink, then you too can DEF wear it!
ya i just bought my first pink & red lipstick for my NY life.. its all about the no makeup but then a pop of color on the lips i feel... and i LOVE the blue & lavender. i have BOTH:) love the others too. and im wearing my fave which u would like called, "you dont know jacque" its like a grey ish loooove it! and i DO think u can pull off the pink lips.
